COMPLIANCE
The CIS scheme sets out the rules for how payments to subcontractors for construction work must be handled by contractors in the Construction Industry.
The Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) is the tax regime which applies to self-employed subcontractors working within the UK construction industry. Aggregate Partners LLP works within the rules of CIS to ensure that subcontractors work in compliance with the rules and get paid on time, every time.
When Aggregate Partners LLP receives payments from its clients in respect of services rendered by subcontractors, Aggregate Partners LLP accounts to HMRC for the CIS tax applicable and remits the net balance less it's service fee to the self-employed worker. Aggregate Partners LLP has always, and will always, account for every penny of CIS tax due on subcontractors’ payments – meaning that subcontractors have peace of mind that their affairs for earning with Aggregate Partners are in order.
Aggregate Partners LLP will also generate yearly summary statements setting out payments and deductions in the relevant tax year, which will help reduce the stress for subcontractors of hunting for paperwork when preparing their annual tax returns.
Subcontractors contract with Aggregate Partners LLP meaning that their contracts for services are with Aggregate Partners LLP and not its clients. This gives subcontractors the assurance that their contractual rights will be applied consistently, you also have the freedom to move from contract to contract at your will and discretion.
